But seriously, last one for reals. I might add selfies in later posts but those posts will not be centered around the selfies.

Went to Auchindoun for some before/afters, and then went partying super hard at the Wandering Festival at Turtle Beach. Sadly all of this was just on my lock, so I'm gonna have to focus the attention down to my two other characters that I use.

Also this may just turn into a continuous feature.

No More Selfies

Except for this one because I worked damn hard on getting it just right and aside from the Screen Captured nonsense it came out perfect.

So yeah I'm not doing that anymore. The more I thought about it the more the joke wore off. Sorry if some of you are avid selfie haters, at least you can rejoice that this will be the last of that.

Around the World in Eighty Selfies (Part 1)

First off, I don't know if it will actually be eighty selfies. Honestly, it will probably be more. I've been trying to stick to the achievement, but I keep finding myself detouring and taking selfies in other places. It's too much fun in this game! I think it's just that the idea of taking a literal selfie in this game is something I never would have imagined ever being in this game, and now that it is in the possibilities for epic silliness are unbound. Also, I somehow managed to get my selfie camera updated, so now I can take selfies with all of my characters!

I don't know how I'll manage these posts, or how they'll be organized, so expect them to be really quite messy. All I know is that I am going to try my best to keep all the selfies even between my characters. Also, some selfies will be completely boring, oh well. Most of those will probably be the obligatory "selfie I took for the achievement and couldn't find a good place to take it."

I realized I should've taken before-after selfies here and in front of Black Temple. Oh well :(

I think I'm actually already about a third of my way through these selfies, but there are still quite a few more that I need to take, so we'll see how long this series goes.

Another Small Update of Sorts

I'm currently removing my WoW character names and the name of the server I am on for certain security reasons. Those who do play the game will see why in a future post; I won't say it, but you'll immediately see why. I've been having problematic encounters with some people, so the names needed to go. No worries, though, this is not a huge problem to me or nothing about my life is in danger.

In other news, yeah, Spring Break is over, and still no Super Metroid post. My problem is, I just want to make sure I have enough time to devote myself to it. That means a completely lazy day with no interaction with anyone and no responsibilities to uphold. Over the break, I interacted much with my family and friends and unfortunately had a great deal of homework to take care of, so I couldn't devote the time to playing the game several times over and then spending a few hours writing another essay. I did get to play some WoW though and check out some new things in 6.1 (I really fucking love playing as a demo lock now for the double Doomguards). So while I don't have a new Metroid post in the works, I do have a couple of new WoW posts almost ready to put up. I recently got the selfie camera on the exact character I wanted it for, so I'll soon post my favorite selfies I took for the Field Photographer achievement, and then I'll get my friends together for a surprise.

Smash 4 Highlight of the Day

Yeah, this was free, and it wasn't exactly a hard read or anything. Still, I was glad I got to pull off what I think is a combo; it isn't exactly easy to break out of. Also, this is a combo I completely made up, which as you can see is capable of KO'ing at incredibly low percents. Very effective but only viable if you can land that stun at just the right distance, and at just the right percent. Otherwise, if your distance is bad, you may either whiff on the nair or hit but will be unable to properly follow up with the grab after the down smash. Sometimes it's better to just grab right after the nair, but the down smash gives the damage that can make the succession of uairs into up b work. If you don't get the KO, but manage to pull follow up after the down smash, it's still a great way to create a pretty nasty conversion, or put you even further ahead of your opponent.

Again, only viable after a fully-charged stun blast. If you're a ZSS main drooling at the sight of this, do not attempt to do this just straight off of the nair (in other words, do not approach with nair). Your opponent will probably grab you.

Edit: This is in fact a true combo if you can frame-cancel the nair.

Edit 2: Probably goes without saying, but this is harder to pull off on lighter characters. I think it's actually impossible against Jigglypuff, and vaguely possible on Kirby. I haven't experimented much with Rosalina.

Edit 3: Well, aside from the down throw into double uair into up b. That's an obvious staple. But I did come up with sequencing it from nair after pondering whether it was viable to follow up with down smash after nair, and I quickly figured out that this can actually KO.

Hiatus and Some Ninja Edits

Hello folks. Well, I've been having some trouble keeping up with this lately, so I just wanted to let you all know that I am well and that this blog isn't going down. I've just been very busy with my classes as of late, but rest assured, come Spring Break I will have the long-awaited Super Metroid Review/Analysis posted!

Also, I removed numbered scores from most, if not all, of my review posts, because numbered scores are the problem with gaming reviews. So, yeah, more shit to make this place better. I hope time will fly 'til I write here again.
